Authorized Seller and Reseller Policy
Bed Head strives to ensure that our customers can purchase and enjoy our products without issue of mishandling or spoilation. Our products are intended for sale only through Bedhead.ca and our authorized third-party sellers (Authorized Partners). This helps to ensure that our customers receive authentic, quality products and thereby protects the Bed Head brand in the marketplace.
Unauthorized resale, even of seemingly genuine products, harms customers and Bed Head.
Why are Authorized Partners Important?
Authorized Partners must meet specific standards in terms of handling and storage. This helps to ensure product authenticity, integrity and standards. For this reason, we cannot provide customer support for purchases that were not made from bedhead.ca - any complaints or issues that arise from purchases made outside of bedhead.ca need to be taken up with the point-of-purchase – this includes Amazon, Winners, Marshalls, private salons, etc. as these are not Authorized Partners.
What’s the Problem with Unauthorized Resellers?
An “unauthorized reseller” is anyone selling products labeled as Bed Head products outside our website and our Authorized Partner channels. Unauthorized resellers may, among other things:
- relabel and/or reseal other liquid products as Bed Head products and/or in Bed Head packaging,
- adulterate or dilute genuine Bed Head products,
- resell genuine Bed Head products that have been improperly stored or handled (such as by exposure to extended periods of freezing or high temperatures or UV light),
- resell genuine Bed Head products marked as “not for retail sale” (or similar) or recalled from the marketplace, and/or
- resell genuine Bed Head products months or years after the date when an Authorized Reseller would no longer be permitted to sell them for quality, freshness or other reasons.
Unauthorized resellers harm our brand and customers by compromising our ability to ensure that products manufactured by Bed Head are adequately stored and sold in accordance with our integrity standards. This damages our brand’s reputation for quality, integrity and satisfaction.
